1 Cross, Mark (pseudonym of Archibald Thomas Pechey). The Four at Bay (Being the Eleventh Exploit of Daphne Wrayne and her Four Adjusters).
London. Ward, Lock & Co. 1939. First Edition. Hardcover in cloth boards. Book is tight and clean with no interior markings. Pages bright with no darkening. Slight spine lean and dust soil to edges. Boards lightly rubbed with wear at corners & spine ends. Jacket cover illustration by L.E. Campbell is very bright. Jacket has closed tear at fore edges and chips at spine ends. The author wrote the first book in the series in 1934 and went on to add 46 titles thru 1961.
