Patterson's own story of his false arrest in the infamous Scottsboro case. The book contains the book plate of the late Negro actress Frances Foster (and George Anderson). Ms. Foster was with the Negro Ensemble Company from 1967 and won an Obie Award in 1985. She also appeared in the soap opera The Guiding Light and was in the films Malcolm X, Crooklyn, Clockers, and The Juror.
